Our Manningtree project has wrapped up this week, and the transformation from where we started is night and day.

This scheme involved:
• Full site strip and demolition of existing structures
• Reduced dig and bulk earthworks to formation levels
• Installation of drainage run
• Import and placement of recycled & primary Type 1
• Compaction, trimming and preparation for works to follow

150m2 Gravel grid driveway installed at this property in Essex

Ground was excavated to 250mm removing all existing tree roots and vegetation & a geotex driveway membrane was installed.

175mm of granite MOT type 1 was installed and compacted in layers using a double drum roller

We screeded 15mm of granite dust over the sub base to enable us to get the grids sitting flat

We put another membrane over the screeded grano dust and laid our gravel grids, a black ice decorative stone was used to finished the driveway and once compacted we had a solid driveway for our client to start using.

We are excited to announce that we have successfully achieved ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications through Citation. This milestone underscores our commitment to quality and environmental management, ensuring that we adhere to the highest industry standards.

Our week at Taymill finished with the foundations being poured, so far we completed a reduced level dig & fill, soakaway, rain water harvesting tank & foundations being pulled and poured, we will be back to install the foul and storm water drainage very soon!
